To all who've checked out ClosetWorld, thanks for reading and commenting. It's actually an adaptation of a prose short story my brother and I wrote years ago before his passing. I turned it into comics form as a way to honor and remember him.
Thanks Joe. My artist, John Amor, has done fantastic work and gets better with every page. I've given him some tough pages to draw in issue 2 of ClosetWorld, and he turns in great page after great page.
I just checked the series at http://www.comiccritique.com/closetworld/ I didn't know it until today. My praises to John Amor for his fine art, and to you, Matt, for the script.
Thanks all. I agree, Brien, that John Amor does a great job of telling a story without the need for dialogue. He has steadily improved over these first two issues, and I love seeing what new thing he does with each page. I see it in my head as I'm writing it, but I'm always stunned with how much better it looks when he sends the pages.

Very nice non-verbal storytelling!
Excellent!
Just read the story - dragged me in. Now to pass it along to kids.

Matt I love this page. The environment and characters pull me in. Love that final panel.

This sweet page-design that clearly moves the eye and tells a story, without needing dialogue for clarification.
Nicely done!
