Concept ideas for The Sparrow. I need an elderly mentor type character. Here we have a faun (don't know why those guys can never put on a shirt), and Elf, and a dwarf. The elf is a little bit jedi looking. Anyways..just concepts, keeping the juices flowing. Let me know what you think, do you have a favorite?

Based on looks, any of these guys could be great. What would sell a character to me would be their personality, and how that personality would play off of Sparrow's. I like side-characters that are extremes of type; far more entertaining to watch... and extremes offer more plot possibilities. I agree with Leon, the old faun looks pretty chill. So you could make him him glacial, unflappable to the extreme.

These are great designs Nathan! I love the line quality of these sketches. Fauns, Elves, and dwarves, "The Sparrow" is really emerging as a grand fantasy:)
