My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I had big dreams once of having a cartoon that was hilarious along the lines of South Park but my rebellion from God, a plethora of mind numbing drugs and my selfish desires did not allow me to have the stage. To put it as mildly as possible, I was "kindly" asked to leave Art School in Philly- haha. Then Jesus tossed me on my knees almost 15 years ago and my life has never been the same since. Using my love for writing and the arduous task of drawing, I am creating comics that can compete with the world but point to the gospel of Christ. I would love to simply write and find a brilliant artist and colorist. I am a writer, not an artist.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

To get my vision out there and have it eventually develop into an ongoing series. My love for comics is great but to affect the most people with positive messages is through the television series and feature film medium. Comics provides me an accessible place where my sci-fi and dystopian version of the classic bible stories can be seen. I have a long range goal and plenty of ideas the Lord provided me that are fresh and morally align with the bread of life, the scriptures.

Favorite Comic Creators:

I am bad with names. I have recently been reading Daredevil with Bendis and am enjoying the story. I used to love the Spidey art by Mark Bagley and Todd McFarlane. I loved Jim Lee's X-Men too. Growing up I was definitely a Marvel guy and I'd say I don't like the Manga style unless it stands out in some way.
