My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

My faith in Christ has impacted my life in that it has given me a measuring rod to live my life by. I have gone through an intense crisis of faith a few years back and like many others was disillusioned by organized religion (church), which shattered my christian world view and made me lose my orientation. Consequently, this left me in state of disorientation. I am not completely there yet, but I am on the road to healing, and re-orientation of my christian belief system. Through all of this, the one thing (or person) that has been a constant in my life was (and is) Jesus Christ. Although I am still working through many issues and find myself 'somewhere in-between Francis of Assisi and Howard Stern on the morality scale' (a quote I stole fom Mel Gibson), I hang on to God's grace like an Alabama tick. Well, that's me in a nutshell.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

Freelance Writer for Independent comic book publishers and also working for the Big Two, Marvel and DC. I would like to have the opportunity to create awesome once off Graphic Novels with top-notch artists, and would like a crack at new story lines for current mainstream comic book characters.

Michael Strynzinscki - - Garth Ennis (like Hitman, but not Preacher & The Boys: I detest anything that is blasphemous!) - Doeg Mounch Writers (novels): - Edgar Rice Burroughs - Robert R. McCammon - Dean Koontz Artists (comics): - John McCrea - Alex Ross - Kelley Jones - Frank Brunner - Steve McNiven Artists (cartoons): - Sergio Aragones!!!! - Mort Drucker - Gary Larson - Jack Chick (I love the style his comics, but don't agree with most of his views)

Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic, (Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Hey West. Welcome to the CCAS! Glad to have you here. Hope you enjoy your time. I like a lot of the creators you like. Frank Miller is great. Loved DKR 1. DKR 2 not so much. Sin City was good too. Some messed up scenes. Loved the way it was filmed. Looked a lot like the comics. Have you seen the cartoon version of DK 1? It's on disc 4 of vol. 4 of the animated series. The first episode is titled Legends of the Dark Knight. These kids are telling stories of who they think Batman is and a girl tells the DK 1 story. Check it out. Oh, Batman Year One is a new cartoon movie in the plans at DC. That'll be great. I was into Jack Chick for a long time. Not so much now. I liked the art and stories but some of the hard core views were a over the top. Love that he at least did the books though. Mark Miller is god too. I liked the Wanted movie and after i read the comic i saw that they changed A LOT. It's was for the movie audience though. It'd be great if they did an animated version just like the comic. Love Steve McNiven's art. Green Lantern, Fantastic Four to name a few. Alex Ross is awesome. Can't wait to see his the Jack Kirby book that he's doing with Kurt Busiek and another artist. Kelly Jones was great when he first came out on Night Man. Like Bernie Wrightson with a twist now. Gary Larson is great. I have a friend who writes for the Simpson's. He wrote in the first Bart Simpson comic. Chris Yambar. Well, talk with ya later. Welcome again.
