Ralph! God bless you brother and I pray your family's Christmas is going well! Uh....so tell me...ya'll didn't get someone to color the rest of the pages did you? Cause I can get them finished now that I'm unemployed for the next 12 days. (The unemployment is temporary and also a good time for catching up on projects and introspective moves).
Thanks, I've actually joined CCAS twice now, I forgot my original password so just rejoined using my church office e-mail! Hopefully I'll try and keep up with things a little better this time, and I'll try and post some images. Currently trying to work on an adaptation of the Gospel of Luke. Thanks again for the welcome! Jeff
Thank you for the hearty welcome. My faith is long been something extremely important to me and I have wanted to incorporate it more into my writing. I hope this site and this community allows me to do so. Have a blessed Christmas yourself!
LOL, this is the only War Eagle story that I've filmed. I do have a script for "War Eagle and the Rebound Girl of Doom." We'll see what happens.
I have a novella about a super-villain who does battle with War Eagle that I am working on. I'll be looking for an illustrator to do some art work so I can release it by next Christmas.
Hi. Bro.
Thanks for the warm welcome and please accept my apologies for the looooong delay in responding... I have had some health issues and other stuff. But I am chomping at the bit so to speak to crack on with my drawing. I come from a comic strip and gag cartoon genr'e but am honing my skills to enter the sequential art field.
There is a famine for good christian material over here and Lord willing I will be able to step into the gap.
Every blessing brother..
Thanks! Glad you like the new avatar! I'm kinda wary of putting my real photo up on the internet. Not sure why, but I feel more comfortable with comic avatars. I've gotten pretty good at them and been thinking about selling custom avatars on the web. Not sure how to get started, though...
Thank you very much for the welcome. It's geat to be part of an art community who loves the lord. My wife's and I goals are to bring christian games to our children. If they can spend ours playying games, why not learn about our lord and savior at the same time. Thanks again for the welcome and we will be back in touch, be blessed.
Thanks for looking at my illustrations. To answer your questions regarding why they were created: a little of each of the reasons you listed. Some of them were done for portfolio work, some of them were illustrations for RPGs or for the e-zine Baen's Universe. Now that I think of it, I think of it I've never done any private commissions.
All of those are pretty old illustrations. I haven't updated for a long time because I've been teaching myself to paint traditionally with acrylics. The learning process was not a pretty one. I'll be keeping those catastrophes locked away in a drawer.
