My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

Despite my father being a Lutheran minister and my mom a talented organist, I fell away from my faith around 1993 when I left for college. Many conflicting world views and influential friends revealed to me how weak my faith had become. I took it from granted! Then, one weekend, I came home to visit my parents after not really talking to anyone in my family for a few months. Sunday morning, I was expected to go to church like in my childhood. There was no single bible verse or hymn that morning that struck me specifically, but tears streamed down my face as I felt my Lord joyfully guide me back from the brink of atheism. He shattered a thick covering of hedonistic scales from my eyes. That was at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in San Jose, CA. This church is no longer there. It did not successfully grow with the changing community long before my father was a pastor there. He was the last pastor at that church. Let's not fail to see the many ways we can communicate to the world about how our Lord is waiting with open arms for all to be saved.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

Pixar animator or Christian comics writer...maybe anime would be cool too...so many roads to explore!
