  • I just read your testimony for the first time!! Awesome stuff, I'm so grateful for the grace of God on your life. ;)

  • Wow, thanks so much for the advice! That's really great, and I'll definitely keep what you said in mind. Still need to figure out how to use my scanner though, haha. You're going to the Kubert School? That's awesome! I was thinking about going there...what do you think of it so far? (Especially since I live in Jersey, it would be close by, which is nice.)

  • Did you say you're just learning??? You are so good!! I wish I were better than I am at art...I still have a lot of work to go....and I need to learn how to use my scanner to upload my art, haha. I kind of feel ashamed though, because it isn't that amazing...ah well, I suppose I might as well. I need to practice more..:P Well, to be honest I was in Teen Challenge with this friend of mine, I have several friends from NC, but can't remember exactly which one is from there. I strongly believe (although I may be wrong) one of them is a girl named Kyrsha (she used to go by Kit). She's currently a junior staff at TC (Teen Challenge), but I think she'll be going to college soon.

  • ...wow, I think you live in the same town as one of my closest friends. O.o

  • Wow, your art is so cool! :D

  • thanks. yeah, i've been on hear for a long time now. this is he best place on the web, that I know of, for Christian comic book artists. As far as your stuff goes, it's not bad. I does need some work, but it reminds me of a few edgy manga styles that I always loved. Keep at it my brother.
  • great artwork ! but your coloring cute bee better.
  • You have a very unique style of shapes and usage of lines that is very beautiful I look forward to seeing more of your work.
  • Welcome to the CCAS. Glad to have you with us. I would encourage you to post samples of your work on this site. You are going to find some very gifted brothers and sisters in the Lord on this site. May the God of our Savior, Jesus Christ richly bless you and your household.

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."
