Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:

I am an illustrator specializing in sequential art. I love the comic book medium and believe it is a great tool for sharing God's Word and his Gospel. Young impressionable minds can find themselves caught up in the genre, and may find themselves reading for cool action or good artwork but find more than they bargained for, true life!

My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I came to faith through the call of God on my life during a very hard season in High School. Caught up with the wrong friends, doing drugs, and skipping school lead me to rethink my path. After the death of my step-father, my Mom distraught decided it was time to go back to church. I gladly went as well believing it was exactly what I needed. Through a series of events: the Gideons at my school, a courageous girl who invited me to her youth group, and I finally heard the Gospel. Always interested in Art I went to college for art, and then went to Bible college and stumbled across my wife! And listening to the direction of the Lord I left Bible college and continued my pursuit of art and comics in San Diego.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

My dream job would to begin a new Christian superhero series that Christian and non-Christian kids alike, would fall in love with, and it would edify them, teach them about true biblical Christianity, dispel the lies of the World and Satan, and draw them closer to the Lord. That's it!

Favorite Comic Creators:

My favorite has always been Jim Lee, I started getting interested in comics around the early 90's so he was it for me. I enjoy his creations and his ability to tell a great story through his beautiful artwork. Nuff said! And of course many Kudos to Stan Lee, and the other early creators of DC comics.
