  • Hi Earnest,

I haven't read the Pride of Baghdad, but I did go look at some of the images online. They're really outstanding. Thanks for letting know about the book and for your compliments.

  • Hi, Sorry for the slow reply, I have another entry on this group and I tend to use that one! Thanks for the kind words, Enjoyed looking at your own work, very interesting.

  • I'm glad the Elevated strip gave you a lift! Funny story, that strip: the writer is not a believer and is kind of rough around the edges, yet I felt strongly that the Lord wanted me to work with him. We still maintain a casual connection - mostly through Facebook - and I have no idea where this will lead but I am strangely at peace about it and sense God's hand in a long-view kind of way. Does that make any sense?
  • Loved the Letter of James. I'm looking forward to seeing more. May the Lord continue to bless you as you serve Him.
  • I do the coloring on the first century storyline and upto this point, I've brought in other artists to do the 21st century scenes....just so there is be a bit of variance to the look of each time period.

The only exception to this, will be the revised edition I just completed of the first book (where I recolore the whole thing myself)
  • Hey Earnest,
Thanks for the thoughtfull pointers. I will make the adjustments on the pages. i have just went throught my other pages with a friend who is an english teacher and we are making the adjustments to my pages so it will have a flow to them. I love when others see what i don't,. Make my work much better. God bless... BAP out!!!
  • Hey Earnest! Thanks for the compliments, and your work rocks too! Great compositions and a real nice drawing style.

Not only that you live in one of my most favorite locations: Willamsburg! My wife and I went there for our honeymoon after our Dec. 20th wedding. Fond memories of an awesome colonial-era town.
  • Hello, Earnest - great stuff!

My wife and I just launched a new comic strip online - check out the details on my CCAS blog! :)

Have a great week - God bless!
  • Earnest....like your stuff. It has a simplicity of design to it, that's very appealing (I'm a sucker for artists who can use negative space to their advantage)!
