My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
Came to Jesus in 1986, got caught up in trying to "make it" as an artist and drifted far from the Lord. In 1997, I became convicted of my idolatry toward my work and quit art saying I would never pick it up again unless I was doing it for the Lord. In that time I got my call to the ministry and the Lord repaired my marriage and family. eventually I became involved in your ministry and was seeking ways to really make my teaching "stick." One night as I was listening to a program at church I heard 1 Peter 4:10 "each one should use whatever gifts he has received to serve others." At that point I had my answer I would use art to serve the Lord in preaching teaching and reaching. Everything I am doing today in ministry has come as a result of that.
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
Traveling the world using art to spread the Gospel and encouraging other artists to do the same.
Favorite Comic Creators:
Mainly Disney, Sunday comics guys and Eastman and Laird

"Sure, go on over and check it out, let me know what you think and welcome aboard. I don;t have a problem with is being a bridge between congregations for an artist, I just really don't want it to be a persons only fellowship. I've been ministering…"
"Hi Pastor! I may give this a try. I know you don't intend for this to replace 'live' fellowship and membership in local Churches, but I don't have a Church home right now and so your ministry idea would be a great blessing to me. I pray the Lord…"
"Glory to God. One day I was praying and I got that image. I knew I wanted to combine art and video and that image was the perfect image to start with. It was simple enough that I could learn all the tech stuff and yet I really feel like God anointed…"

"Thanks Joe,
I appreciate your kind words. It's amazing what you can get out of a sharpie, lol. The way I work drives a cartoonist friend of mine crazy, he prefers to ink with a brush and an ink well. I actually vary the line weights of my cartoons…"

"Amen Pastor Z.
Michael, I was negligent in mentioning that if the thought you are having of suicide are real and recurrent, you need to see someone for help and counseling now! Don't wait."

"First of all stop talking about killing yourself. Second it is time for you to do some serious reanalysis of your life. If you would kill yourself before switching to another field your priorities are way out of line. If you would give up on God if…"
"Dude,
Don't ask God to stop giving you ideas write them down in a note/sketch book and keep going. This is a reality of life in the field you are in. You'll need those ideas as you go forward. But for now, pick one and focus and Git-R-Done. You can…"
