My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

My "salvation story" is pretty lame. I didn't do drugs, I didn't live a life of crime and have Jesus come save me in a dark alley while I was homeless and on crack. I grew up in church and was saved at a very young age (6). I, like most males found pornography. I was addicted for many years and God got me out of that sick sin that I still fight to this day (I view it as my personal arch nemesis). I began to take my walk with God seriously when I was in college. I began to study theology and scripture pretty heavily as well as focusing on how it effects culture and how the Christian sub-culture presents Jesus to the world. God has instilled a fierce passion in my life to create stories in this wonderful medium that will reach others for his glory.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

Be a part of building a Christian Comic Book company that focuses on gritty stories which promote the Gospel and reach comic book fans around the world. I want to give comic fans quality Gospel centered books that don't leave you throwing the book down in cheesy disgust. The Gospel isn't cheesy or corny and our job as Christians is to present it as the epic story that it is. I've come across many Christian books/comics/movies that are just BAD quality. My goal as a Christian comic creator is to overcome the cheesy presentation of the Gospel and present it in a way that leaves people (lost and saved alike) in awe of the glory of God.
