My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I came to faith when I was a sophomore in college. I had grown up going to church, but I never took the time to really understand what pastors and preachers were talking about until I decided to investigate for myself why people still believed in Jesus in these modern times. With me being open to hearing the message of Jesus Christ when I got to college, I began to understand that answer among many other questions I had. I began to see for myself that all of what I had been searching for when it came to understand the truth and meaning of life was ultimately found in Jesus. So I decided to commit my life to Him and things were never the same. The more that I spent my time with knowing Jesus more, the more I began to understand the depth of my sin and what I was capable of, something that I could not quite comprehend beforehand. But also on the flipside, I began to see the beauty of Jesus all the more and appreciate the depth and love He has for me for willing to die on the cross for my sake. His sacrifice opened my eyes to how much He loves me and accepts me to go to such lengths for a sinner like me, who was once was an enemy of His now turned friend and sibling of our Heavenly Father. He has shown me unconditional love and I am truly grateful for it. Because of this, I decided to dedicate my life to honor and glorify Him in all that I do. I look forward to continue to grow alongside with God and this community so that I can worship Jesus in spirit and in truth to the fullest of my abilities.
