How do you stay with it?

Hi, I'm pretty new to this site, so forgive me if I do or say anything wrong.

I'm an artist (I mostly paint) and I really want to make a comic of my own, and I have tons of ideas. However, in the past, it seemed like when I got inspired to make something, I would burn out and get bored of it before I even finished the first chapter. How do you stay inspired to stick with it?

I would say create something you're passionate about! Something that makes you burn.

That is a very good question. I've been working on one comic or another for 15 years. Every year or so, I've noticed that I need a month or so away from it in order to not burn out completely. That and a lot of prayer.

  That's pretty cool that you know exactly when and how long to stay away. They say that you need to work on other stuff, too. Do you do that?
