How do you stay with it?

Hi, I'm pretty new to this site, so forgive me if I do or say anything wrong.

I'm an artist (I mostly paint) and I really want to make a comic of my own, and I have tons of ideas. However, in the past, it seemed like when I got inspired to make something, I would burn out and get bored of it before I even finished the first chapter. How do you stay inspired to stick with it?

  • I would say create something you're passionate about! Something that makes you burn.

    • That would make sense

  • That is a very good question.  I've been working on one comic or another for 15 years.  Every year or so, I've noticed that I need a month or so away from it in order to not burn out completely.  That and a lot of prayer.

    • That's pretty cool that you know exactly when and how long to stay away. They say that you need to work on other stuff, too. Do you do that?
