Shenanigans and Rust Angel #7

So it has been a couple crazy months for me. Between the full time job and just life in general, it is always tough to find the time to write and draw.

My stalwart computer of 4 years decided it had had enough drawing Starcraft and called it quits a couple weeks ago, which was pretty traumatic. Fortunately I was able to save all my data, but transitioning to a new rig (windows 8...why?!?), re-finding all my fonts and adapting to new software is not something I cherish doing. But it's gotta happen.

Despite that setback, I did manage to finish up Rust Angel #7 - I encourage you to check it out:

Read #7!

It feels nice to finally wrap up a story arc... it only took me over a year... eesh haha. I've definitely slowed down for #8 as I've been finding it a bit difficult to keep pushing myself to work so fast.

Anyways, life is great, and God is good. God is really good.

I hope everyone's doing well!

Matt

  • Thanks Brien!

And yeah, Windows 7 to 8 is smoother than XP to 7, but 8 just feels like a strictly worse version than 7 for the most part. Fortunately they are similar enough that all my software made the jump intact, but it is still a colossal pain in the butt haha.

  • Rust Angel 7 has awesome fight scenes! Your body positioning and POV just gets better and better.
  • I understand about dealing with a crash. I had to change everything from XP to windows 7 some years ago and not everything was still compatible. I dread to go to 8, because some of my software is old.
