I'm trying to be back - the end of last year was pretty overwhelming. The volunteer team I was on for my church was kind of made redundant, and I didn't realize what a huge stabilizing impact it had on my life. Not to mention actually using my writing skills and getting to read the letters people sent in about getting saved and changing their lives was just a huge boost for my self-esteem and it really connected me to people at a time when I was pretty socially isolated. As an introvert, I need to remind myself to do that. Then I got sick with the bug that was going around, and then the next, and the next... Amazing how you catch stuff when essentially you aren't coming in contact with people.Anyhow, I've recently had reason to consider a lot of things, like how fragile life is and how even introverts need people and what am I going to really do with the vapor I call my life. And I just want to say I appreciate you all. Thank you for being here.
If I'm going to remember to reach out and connect with people, this is a great place to start. You all are the best :)
I'm supposed to send a sample to the volunteer team at my church that does the daily devotionals... I've never written a devotional before, but I probably can.
I didn't have time last night to write a longer post, but the last couple of months haven't gone well either. So I'm arbitrarily deciding to personally begin the year at March.
If you think of it, can you pray for the family of my nephew, SSgt. Nathan McMillan of the Marine Corps?
It sounds like that volunteer team gave you a valuable use for your gifts; any more opportunities like that in your area (or even on the internet?) Keep praising, keep healing.

Good to have your communication, Paula.

You are very welcome.
Sorry about the storms that have come your way. This too shall pass :)
