  • @Frank Thank so much, I really appreciate it! :D I used on of my Wolverine action figures as a reference which helped immensely. Adding a sentinel background as we speak. ;)

  • @Gerard yeah, I guess it's more practice/challenge. ;) I'm trying to improve my art, but I usually draw original art and one offs, so I picked a well known character to work with. This challenges me because everyone knows what Wolverine should look like, when I do an original it can look like pretty much anything, so even if I make a mistake no one would know since they don't know what the character should look like. By choosing a character people recognize I'm forced to follow a pre determined construct or archetype. This is a challenge to me. While doing the piece I am practicing my penciling, shading, etc. my biggest challenge and practice will be that of inking once I am done with the penciling. (I have trouble with inking.) and maybe I'll scan and color it which I'm also not that comfortable with coloring. ;)
