I tried to show that some will count the cost and give up the things they love to follow Christ, but then some of even most will not. They will not let go of those things and they will depart from Jesus having never been known.
Christianity has become some many different things to different people around the world since the death of Christ. We have done so many things in the name of Jesus, some very questionable things. So in this panel I am asking a personal question, why are you following Jesus? What part of the gospel are we leaving out? How is it that we love so many of the wrong things. What are you willing to let go of in order to be his disciple? Are your political views coming from tv news or from the gospel? Is your identity in your earthly "heritage" or in Christ? Are you a wolf in sheep clothing and if so, will you come out into the light and be clothed in compassion? Are you hiding behind a mask to cover your fears and hatred, if so be forgiven and be seen. Choose this day. Many are called, some will turn away and go back to their old ways. As Christians we sometimes think scriptures are for someone else, worldly people, the perishing, but Jesus and Paul were usually talking to believers. In my cartoons I am often speaking to believers and it is usually not to puff them up.

Okay, I get it now. Thanks for explaining.
Mike, thanks for the interest.

Okay, that makes more sense, but why is the Klansman riding off on the sheep? Sorry, I think it's my week for being dense.
The original title is "Why are you following me"

I like it. The art is well done, but I don't quite get it.
