These two play prominent roles in my current comic project ... oh and that's a rat he's holding lol
This project is particularly rewarding, because I get to combine my drawing interests with my passion for historical research. For instance, these are two Alexandrian Jewish children (who also turn out to be persecuted Christians) from 3rd cent AD, based off of Egyptian figurative mosaics from the same period elsewhere in Egypt. Self-imposed historical constraints offer the boundaries I need to stay serious and actually complete this project lol - I recommend it for anyone like myself with blank-page fear
