And this top panel is like this guys being tortured by the lines of the composition and surrounded by demons, a much scarier composition, the mysterious hand? what does the monster look like? That mystery feeling. The panel before this shows the man separated from the hell environment. It's more static and I believe the lines of this top panels environment more so than the clouds in the previous page (25). And this guys face is being gored by the horns of the demon on page 26, foreshadowing the torture that feeling of anticipation is exciting and riveting.
This page is better to me because of the movement in the first panel where the big hand goes to the distance and all the way around the dude like he's really enveloped by the environment and the horrible situation, the details of the hand/ less details in the distance/ and the bottom panel has excellent lighting and expression, not only with the face but the hands and body language and crazy hair.
