  • In the future, David and his friends will met some Muslims at the school. As for people of other religions, maybe David would meet them though a friend, online or maybe even a missionary trip.

  • I must admit to the fact that I find this particular arc rather strange. All of the characters of Modern Christians strike me as boys who are still nurtured by spiritual milk, rather than spiritual fillet mignon; yet, despite this arc's protagonist having little foundation in his own religion, his friend is already pushing him to go off and understand all other religions. And judging by the fact that all of his friends are white, and go to a typical mid-sized American school, he probably has little reason to learn most of these religions - because who would he evangelize to who isn't already enmeshed in a culture prevalent with Christian themes and symbols?

Should be interesting to see how this pans out.
