"My Little Pony" was originally a Hasbro Toy Line from the beginning of the 80's. Like Barbie, it has a plastic, souless charm that will not die. Occaisionally an Artsite like Deviant art, or Artspots will endure a run of sappy fanart(I'm trying to be objective...well, maybe not) which I wouldn't dignify with a responce, except that I now have a 3 year-old granddaughter who already loves plastic ponies. So here's a picture for Rosie, my Little Pony granddaughter
I designed this piece to mesh two worlds, the gritty "Real world" in greys, the pony-dream world in brighter colors. It speaks to a lot of us who have our feet in two worlds.
