This whole pic has a lot of nice things going for it, a lot of depth. Nice! Nice!
But my favorite thing about this pic is its composition. Its two on two, and every ones posture conveys an emotion; taken together this picture has tension and energy, without the words being added yet. Emotion is even more important with this 3-D CG style than with ordinary toons, because CG produces such uncluttered and sterile images.
Everyone(except RJ) in this pic is balanced, their posture is basically up and down and set-in-place, which hints that their attitudes are "set" as well. The postures invite the viewer to park for a while as well. The one off balance part is RJ's foot in the lower left, so I'm guessing that this frame in the animation is catching him moving forward.
