  • I couldn't have said it any better Nate. Your on point with this discussion-lol!

As for the old stories of comics converting to new more in HIS word and glory is still a hard transition
for me. I'm gona have to turn away or let go of a few w/o even thinking twice about it. Its a process of pride really. I am so proud of creating them, that I find myself struggling to let them go. I know i will be lead into something both in his name and fun for comics too. Its just gonna take the power of prayer and patience before I realize how HE is going to lead me through it.

Well for now, I got to brainstorm and spend some more time with my lord and savior "Jesus".
I'm proud of you Nate! You are very intuned spirirtually with your faith and have great wisdom upon his word. I sort of wish I had my youth's insight of christ as you do for your age. Its inspiring and I thank the lord for allowing us to converse in his name.

-My he bless you and your family evermore.
  • I appreciate everything you have mentioned and you bring up very good points too. These pages were created before I gave my life to Jesus Christ. So it's not exactly fitting the christian morals and justifications of Jesus, however its was the most recent work I had available for posting. I understand the confusion too. We he says "they" he was refering to the elders in spirit. Remember this was pre-created before I really knew what it meant to have jesus in my heart. So I can understand your disappointments. I also see your point about not having a specific direction towards christ, father god, or the holy spirit. THAT is exactly what I want to change in my storytelling.

It's my faultline right now and I am trying to come up with a story that not only holds true values of christianity, but still is able to grab the attentions of those who don't know about the miracles of faith in jesus, that hope is holy , and love of Christ is divine. I guess what i'm trying to say is I want to help create the hook, the line, and sinker of a good christian comicbook, which I know is ideally all our aspirations here.

Btw, thank you for the compliments on the art style. Its honestly a newer style I've been trying to accomplish and refine. I had another brother in Christ mention he looked like earthworm jim, lol! It never clicked in my head before, but he was right! So i will have to reconstruct the main character a bit. As for the sword of truth, later in the storyline you learn the sword was created by God and given to Broc-Li by the elders who keep it hidden for many centuries. The villian Caulsou has a dark past with Broc-Li. They used to be part of a pirate brotherhood. Thats part of the sin that Broc-Li struggles with, vengence.

You were right about being a fanatsy. What had happened is this particular storyline used to be all spiritual fanatsy and I took it upon myself to reconstruct it into a more christ-like manner because I really enjoyed the characters. Did I mention that all characters are vegetables?. I know what your thinking -veggies tales. Honestly I had created this comic before I even knew who veggies tales were.
It was part of my toning down the gore, because I figured, eh, their veggie characters no real gory stuff going on here, their just vegetables right!?.

But as you can see I have a lot to work on to get it going in the right direction. As for the violence, yeah again old habits dying hard here. Still trying to tone it down, so I apologize for being a bit uncomfortable. Well thats a mouthful for me. I never turn away feedback. Thank you so much, i appreciated. It helps more than you may think. Have a blessed day N8B. till next time.
