I've been thinking a little bit lately about how great this world would be if people simply were not greedy.
What would the world look like if people in power were truly there to serve the people rather than rule them?
You know what? We're all in positions of power, to some degree, in that we all have the power to choose altruism over greed.
Even if our actions only make a small splash, small splashes still make ripples, right?
Anyway, here's a comic book page about one of the times when Jesus slammed the guys in power for being clean on the outside but dirty on the inside.

Thanks Brien, good point you made there.
Amen!
Beautifully detailed and well designed page; wow.
Sometimes greed is holding onto your possessions/talents rather than giving it away, but since you're not grasping for more you don't feel greedy. Sometimes greed is in hanging onto a position: you keep yourself as the giver of truth rather than helping others to serve themselves.
But where ever the Spirit shines the light in our life, as you indicated Matt, we need to start splashing in the right direction even if its small splashes.
