  This is Brianna's niece, Olivia. She went to live with Brianna after her father (who is Brianna's older brother and also has shapeshifting powers) is murdered. After being harassed by a group of girls at school, she discovers she inherited "the gene" from her father when she transforms for the first time. She's supposed to be 11 at the time this happens.
