  • Hey Bro. Angelo!!

Thanks for your ideas, they're great! The panel is meant to be a splash panel, tho I don't like using a full page. It is a metaphor meant to represent the theme of the story. Silhouetting the background, hadn't thot about that! Have a few web projects to tackle, but can't wait to get back to draw this shot!
    God bless, Bro. Jimmy
  • Hi,jimmy. How's it going? Jesus is Lord, that's all that matters!! Well,I wanted to comment on the drawing since I saw it but I got caught up in other things for a while so I took the time to give it some thought. You're right about the composition but you're not that far off because the issue is wether or not this is to be the opening splash or part of the ongoing story in the book, know what I mean?
I'll take it for granted it's the 1st page in the story,ok?
Now,if it's supposed to be a metaphor and not actually a scene, how about taking the 3 teens and centering them in the middle walking towards the reader, keeping their expressions intact.Next, place the druid behind them with the same pose(hand outstreched, waving fist)Make him larger so he looks more ominiu and threatening. And lastly, have Captain Miracle flying towards the druid but circling in front of him from the far right to left,as if he's cutting him off for the 3 in front. The house and trees can be set around this scene but draw them as silhouettes so as to not distract from all the activity in front. Well, that my 2 cents, hope it helps.Stay Blessed,bro.....angelo
