This is one of the illustrations I'm planning on using in my rpg, "GlymyreScape". Fairies were engineered by the Elves of Nix to be a harassment element during the Nixian Wars. The genetic material came from Tolkian Gnomes, wasps, and a variety of blood sucking insects. Though not very strong (no taller than 2 feet), they are very durable, and have special attacks and defenses. These are one of the many villains to be faced in the game.
