Hands are just hard. Sometimes, I'll even frame a picture so the hands don't show. :D
One other thing to consider is that her hands appear to be a bit too big compared to her head. If I'm remembering correctly, the rule of thumb is that base of the palm to fingertip should be a bit smaller than the face.
One tip for practicing, also for character development: don't erase too much. (This isn't for final art, and probably works best with smaller sketches.) Make some corrections, but instead of trying to get a sketch exactly right, just note what you don't like. (errors and preferences) Then draw it again, preferably next to the first version. I've found it's helpful to see the iterations. (I started doing this years ago, after redrawing a character's hair numerous times, only to decide I like the first version best. Which had been erased and drawn over several times. Actually I think that sort of thing happened a few times.)
Never hesitate to give advice or point flaws out! It always helps me learn!
My sister posed her hands for me.
I added specific creases in hopes on the thumb to make it look a little farther back. The front view fingers are supposed to be pinkies, but they seem a little long...I need to work on hands more...
I hesitate to suggest things because I could not draw something that well, but its an art society! So.... you did remember that from that view the thumbs are on the inside and the little finger outside (towards the viewer). The hands as drawn look a bit like you are looking down at your own hands, which is not the perspective of the viewer. E.g. I expected to see the little finger in front of the other fingers. I also expected to possibly see a bit of the palms of the hand, and the thumbs in shadow more (shadowed by the heart and other fingers).
