The term SIN stands for SENTIENT INFLUENCE OF NEGATION, which is what the SINs are, beings of influence over negative traits and emotions.

Doubt wears a huge cape that he uses to distort a victims situations in order to influence doubt in their mind. He mainly uses it to turn dreams into nightmares.

    one of the definitions of negation is the absence or opposite of something that is actual, positive, or affirmative

    Negation and Negativity are kinda different conceptually - not to be overly pedantic or technical. Maybe they should be Sentient Influencers of Negativity. *nods*
