Big Ethel is a character in Archie Comics who exists simply to "like Jughead" I figured if she's going to be called BIG ETHEL, lets make her DO something with that height. So I made her the teams star basketball center. Big Ethel really should be the natural match for Riverdales other star athlete, BIG MOOSE the Football player, but I guess Moose doesn't like tall domineering women.
