It is said that one of the reasons Amaranth was chosen as a First was because she is the guardian of the Tree of Life and Red believed that was a great sacrifice deserving of the title.

She is very nonchalant and many say she comes off as being someone who gets amusement from others pain.

I've done many sketches of Amaranth, but none that I really liked. Then I finally get something I like and its not the 'creepy' look I had intended. (so I can't do 'creepy' right =p) she came out more like a snooty prissy woman :flail:

She was originally supposed to have her wings out, but I need to finalize the Astrians' Celestrian form before i do. _{mainly whether to keep the band markings or not}
