Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:

At 45, I can honestly say I'm not an expert in anything. I try my best to love my wife and three daughters and be the husband and father they need me to be. I love ministry. Anything that involves sharing Christ, using the gifts I've been given to bring glory to our God. I really like to surf, run, play soccer or do just about any other physical activity!

My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

Raised by my wonderful mom, till she died when I was 16. Grew up loving comics; marvel, DC and the rest. Began developing my skills as an artist around that time. Strayed for 10 years, till I was 26, as a complete hard core drug addict. In the throws of herione addiction, Jesus stretched out His loving hand and saved me from my sins, and through His Spirit transformed my life. By the time I turned 30, I was serving as a missionary in Moscow, Russia. Met my beautiful wife there and I was ordained a Pastor 2 years into the 9 years we served there. Returned to the States in 2005 for 9 months before heading out again to the island of Cyprus, where we still live and Pastor the church we started here. During the interim in the States the Lord birthed a story and desire to use my own drawing skills and love for comics to reach out to the youth culture with His love.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

As an amatuer comic book artist, I think developing skills in any area would be awesome. Penciling is my strength, but I'd love to be involved with story writing, inking and coloring as well.

Favorite Comic Creators:

I'm afraid, as a pastor, husband and father, I haven't had time to keep tabs on who is who. Don't know any by name! Sorry.... :)
