My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

After growing up in a poor, Christian home; I decided God couldn't or wouldn't answer prayers or provide for my needs - unless poverty was a requirement for service. After graduation; I set out on the path to become a self-made man. After many years of hard work and painful mistakes; I achieved a psuedo-version of what I thought I wanted. It was then I was faced with THE question - what next? Was this the product of all those painful years? Is this what I have to look forward to for my remaining years? What was the point? I realized my life had been wasted and, if I didn't reach out to God, the rest would be as well. Then, four years ago, someone told me God had a plan for my life and I was "on the right path". I got so excited the first thing I did was interpret what he said to fit my desires and jumped right off the path I was on. I have spent the last three and a half years wandering in 'the desert' trying to find the promised land. I still haven't found the path I had left but I pray this is a step in the right direction.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

My dream job would be to bring Christian artists and writers together to collaborate and produce comics, graphic novels, stories and more that would be appropriate reading material for young and old people or believers and nonbelievers.
