My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

The nutshell version is: I'm 43, and I have been striving and walking with Yeshua most of my life. I was in an auto accident when I was 3 weeks old. This resulted in my left limbs being paralyzed. Thanks to much prayer and hard work by those around me I was able to walk ALMOST without a limp by the time I was about 6. The only physical discipline I learned growing up was martial arts (to help with limb strength and range of motion) so I spent more time reading, in prayer and study and intellectual pursuits in my head than on the playground or game field. Aside from the general nudging from my parents that God had me here for a reason my Biblical education and walk with God was largely self-sought and fueled instead of instilled in my by parents and teaching. Like I said in not so few words earlier: me = bookworm. My main aspects of ministry and study these days is fringe theology and Scripture in current events. Keeping it relevant to CCAS, I use this to help aspiring writers and artists create timely and intriguing stories that entertain and help guide others to either a new walk with Christ or a strengthening of their exiting walk.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

supervisor ;) seriously though, writer. I owned a comic store back in the 90s and so the niche as a whole has been in my blood I guess you could say. I was one of the only shops in town that would try to bring in and showcase comics either written by Christians or Christian themed comics (such as Archangels and the original run of Prophet). So in a way I guess I've already had my "dream job" in the industry.

Favorite Comic Creators:

Well I came here because some of the Christian artists I fellowshipped with on DeviantArt have moved here (such as Tazia Hall). As far as the big names I guess I should mention Rob Liefield, Peter David and Mark Texiera.
