Hey ya'll hadn't posted in a while so here goes...

LP artbook is about finished. Sending it off to the printers next week.
This weekend, the exciting conclusion to LP#10 will be up @ http://lp.thecomicseries.com
Dreamer.Seer.Warrior LP Graphic Novel #1 is underway. Will show some preview pages for that. The art is by Walter Reynolds on this one. I have the story and characters.

Ok, while I am doing the online series of The Lightning Prophetess, I saw something I needed to do. I want to make the graphic novel version of LP a little more action oriented like a typical manga. So, I began the ardeous task of editing. It is a retelling of the 1st 3 LP issues in a different way, basically from the perspective of Shandra Knight (Lightning Prophetess). Its coming along well, just drawing it has been a challenge but a welcome one. Since this is my first graphic novel, what should I aim for on the first one?

Ok, this is my first time posting meh news on here. But I live on deviant art and myspace.Lightning Prophetess:I was down for 3 weeks so I am furiously coloring the next installment of LP#8. I have bought an Canon scanner and all the inks look a lot better on there than my HP one. Crisp and awesome. I will have that up at my new site: www.lpthemanga.com tonight or early Christmas morning so you can get my Christmas present for the fans. By the way the girl in the banner is the Lightning Prophetess herself. I may be adding more stuff at the LP site tomorrow. Hopefully some cast profiles. The update will also be at Cyberlight Comics as soon as it is received.Meanwhile, the LP sourcebook will be available for purchase after I upload this after New Years's through ka-blam.com via indyplanet. It is a little something until I get the graphic novel version of LP ready for you by Spring. The sourcebook are pencil sketches as well as exclusive cgs of Lightning Prophetess and the cast. As well as character designs and exclusive CG artwork. You wont regret buying it!Stories in development:Trial by Lena. This will be pitched for www.wirepop.com as an online manga. Due to LP being prepublished @ cyberlight I can't use it but...this story is uniquely another Christian shoujo manga.The premise:Melvena "Lena" Watson is a 16 year old with a knack for trouble. She moved with her evangelist mother from Chicago to Charlotte, NC to start a new life. Lena does not like her new surroundings. A promise from her mother that she would get a car if she starts straightening up her act, i.e. being active in church. Lena takes up her mom's offer and tries to be good to get what she wants her car. So at the urging of her mom she joins the choir. Where she meets the energetic director, Solomon Barnes. Solomon takes a liking to Lena and Lena starts to learn unconditional love. The adventure begins with these two. It is a Christian romance shoujo novel and in about 2 months will show a preview of the one shot of Lena.Enough news from the studio-till next time.-Shan.PS.
