CHRISTIAN COMIC ARTS SOCIETY :: A NETWORK OF CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP FOR COMICS FANS, PROS, AND AMATEURS

Announcements!

We have some exciting news! CCAS has moved to a new and improved version of our platform. Not only is it more powerful and better organized, it is completely responsive (looks great on all devices).

ATTN: MEMBERS WHO JOINED AFTER AUGUST 22, 2019
The only issue we are experiencing with this move:
Members who joined after August 22, 2019 WILL NEED TO RE-ENTER THEIR PROFILE QUESTION, ANSWERS. Please accept our sincere apologies for this inconvenience.

ALL MEMBERS:

  • Thanks Scott. That's a great quote from C.S. Lewis, I don't think I remember reading it before--tho it rings true, certainly.
Being a part of things here is pretty exciting.
  • oh thats cool take your time..i was freaking out that maybe most folks didn't get it..and it scared me.
  • Thank you so much Scott for your warm welcome. CCAS turns out to be one of the coolest places to hang out and fellowship online.
  • Of those of you that are playtesting...Who didn't receive the packets..i sent them out two weeks ago. I haven't heard anything back from most folks.

here's an ONLINE copy of the Package i sent out...http://www.facomic13.com/Community2.htm maybe that will help..you'd have to print and cut the decks...but if REALLY REALLY REALLY don't want to do that i'll send another set of decks. i spent so much money on sending those packages...that it saddens me to think you didn't get it.
  • We are far too easily amused. True!
  • Ok, it makes sense now. Thank you, Scott. :D
  • The message button doesn't work for me, (nor does the add as friend button) so I'll just leave my address here: monply7@charter.net
  • well thank you ! You're gonna have to slap me later, but I didn't understand the CS Lewis message. : X
  • Hey Scott, I don't see that link anywhere on the page -- which is a shame because I had an awesome idea for a group. So considering I couldn't find a link, being as crafty as I am, I took an alternate route -- I searched: http://christiancomicart.ning.com/groups/group/new

Which on any other ning-hosted community would allow me to create a NEW group. However, instead I got a page to pop up that essentially said, "Yikes, A problem seems to have occurred." and so on and so forth...

So, considering it seems impossible to create one, I decided to go ahead let you create it. The idea is simple, Topix. Just a group, that has a weekly updated topic. For example: This weeks topic is, Things That GO Fast. And thus, people would start commenting/posting pictures of their interpretations on, Things That GO Fast. So, what do you think?
  • Hey Scott. I recently emailed him again and unfortunately still have not heard from him...
