  • I am a leader of a League City Girl Scout troop (11-12 year olds) and my daughter is hostessing the Comic Artist badge in 2 weeks. She told me she wanted to meet an actual comic artist and so I am looking for someone who would be willing to inspire some budding talent and share their inspiration with the girls. It is a smaller group of 7 girls. Would this be something you are interested in?  Our preference is that we stay with someone Christian based instead of only main stream.

  • Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

  • I  just wanted you to know that your comic of archangel was my first viewing of an actual christian comic. I found it years ago lying around at a salvation army church. I wanted to know how to connect with you and tried finding you in every way, your name led me to this site, God is good. One day I hope to have my comic to be as amazing as yours. ;)

  • I recognized that angel anywhere. When I was kid I so had those comics and drew from them all the time. Im a HUGE fan of your work. Even to this day I still quote,"It's the little things that matter most, all you have to do is look closely".
In fact, having those comics as a kid actually helped me move forward to become a professional artist knowing that I could do a little good in the world by mixing 2 loves, Christ and comic books.
    It's an honor.
  • Hey Patrick! Thanks for reaching out and the friend request. Hope you are well.
  • Thanks for the add Patrick! You didn't happen to grow up Maryland did you? I had a friend when I was a kid with the same name as you that moved to TX a long time ago...I know its a common name, just thought I'd ask :)
  • By the way, check out Don Ensign's and my reports and photos on the Phoenix Comic Con. Maybe you could make it out in 2011.
  • Welcome to the CCAS. I can't tell you how many people still come to the CCAS and ask about Archangels. At the Phoenix Comic Con several people asked if we carried the title. You're definitely going to have to give us an update on how things are going. Also, how is John doing? You are also going have to post some Archangels pages. Looking forward to the update. May the God of our Savior, Jesus Christ, richly bless you, your family, and the works of your hands.
