Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:

I grew up redrawing my favorite dragon ball z movies scene by scene, and eventually started writing and creating my own stories. I love drawing anime-like characters with a western cartoon inspired style to them.

My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I’ve always known about a God, and this Jesus character. Since I was young I kept a consistent prayer life because I was told God loved me and liked it when we talked to him. I grew up, kept out of trouble, but also didn’t really go to church. After I graduated high school I started going to church and studying the Bible on my own. I moved across the state, and joined a church there too and through the friends I made, and lessons I learned from the word of God, my life was transformed. I felt more joy, more confidence, and more value in myself and the people around than ever before because I finally was seeing myself and others appropriately. And more importantly God became the very most important thing in my life, and I realized what I was here for. To glorify him in all that I do. I hope to use my passion and talent for comics to create stories that glorify God and tel of his character.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

I’d love to be an independent comic book creator. If I got contracted by webtoon or another web comic posting site I’d love that as well.

Favorite Comic Creators:

Akira Toriyama from Dragon Ball. Jason Brubaker who does Sithrah. John Amour and Justin Jordan of URBAN ANIMAL. Hiroyuki Takei who did Shaman King. Masa’s hi Kishimoto from Naruto. Faith Erin Hicks who has worked on Avatar TLA comics and also her own series The Nameless City.
