Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:

Learning how to write comics. I am just starting out.

My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I came to faith when I was a child, growing up in a Christian family. I participated in Christian school, Awanas, and served at Bible camp. I wanted to be a marine biologist when I was a kid because of what I learned about God creating the world, and the oceans. I have always had a hard time sharing my faith with nonbelievers, and I kept largely to myself at my public high school. I started getting serious about comics in high school, drawing a series for my Sophomore English teacher, and have wanted to be a cartoonist ever since. I've been through a lot with my health and my family, leaving the faith a few times, but I always came back and have come out stronger because of my faith.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

Writing for middle school graphic novels and children's books.

Favorite Comic Creators:

The Action Bible, Scott McCloud, Bill Watterson, Reina Tegelmeier
