  • uh....that, and i want to be in community with christians. i don´t know, i just want to go wherever God has me. :)

  • So, yup. :)
  • I talked to several students and teachers, although I can't remember heir names..when I asked if you were around, they said you weren't there, so I doubt you saw us. As for why I'm not going there...I'm not saying it's a sin, but for my own personal situation, I just don't want to sketch live nude models.....
  • I decided I'm not going to attend there, though...=/

  • So...I visited your school, like, a month ago and saw one of your x-men art pieces on the wall. XD

  • Hey Erik,

You've got some great work here.  You've got a great style and your latest work looks really awesome.  I don't know if you're interested or not, but I'm working on creating an animated super hero drama and I'm looking for artists all the time.  You can take a look at our website: www.redemptiontheseries.com to get a feel for things.  If you're interested and have any questions let me know, I'd love to talk with you further about the project.

Keep up the amazing work and God bless!

    - Chris

  • Wow, that's really cool! Yeah, I've read online that it's really diverse, but that's awesome that they have a bible study there and such. It's  awesome how God has changed your life and redirected you with you're doing in life. :)

  • I'm sorry, but I just have to say everything you just wrote in the last comment you sent me was amazing. Although worded a bit differently, you literally said exactly what I've been talking about forever. That is very literally what I want to do, word for word. The crazy thing is that you get it, which is awesome.

I've come from my own past of darkness, walking in rebellion towards God and becoming a tool for Satan rather than my savior. I'm so grateful for the grace He's given me, and the astounding love He's shown me even in the midst of what seemed like the end, no hope at all. The truth was though, I was still living selfishly, holding back from God and what He had for me because I just wanted to live for myself in self-righteousness, justifications, and bitterness and offense. (Let alone pride) I was a deceitful liar, and it only got worse as I got older and became involved with worse things. Thank God though that He still had radical love for me even when I was trying to walk away from Him. (He wouldn't leave me alone, haha. I resented it at first, but now I look back at it and am blown away to tears) P.S.-I cry a lot, although nowadays its most always happy tears.

Now God's completely changed my life. Although I am still weak and foolish, He is my strength and daily bread. All I really have to do is remember to lean on Him, spend time with Him, and seek after Him, haha. (That doesn't always work out though, but I'm learning :P) At the moment, trying to finish high school, improve my art, plan out a story line and characters that I'm working on, and be used of God to the utmost extent. (Which as I stated before, is work in progress.)

So...just wondering, could you tell me a bit about yourself? Like, for example, how old are you anyway? Plus I'd love to hear your life/salvation story if you're willing to tell.

By the way, how's it like being a Christian @ the Kubert school? Is there anybody else saved there, or not so much? What are the nearest churches, and which one do you go to?

(Sorry if this too many questions at once, you don't even have to necessarily answer them. I'm just curious, it's a bad habit of mine.)

P.S.-If you have any questions about me, my life, my testimony, etc., feel free to ask. I'm an open book, so, fire away! :)

  • I think I say wow too much...:P

  • O_O...okay, even your dream is awesome, that's very literally what I want to do. Stories are the most powerful tool of influence, and I want to use them to get through to the most impossible people and let them know the love and reality of Christ. I'm far from making a comic book, but I'm trying to start with novels and as my art get better progressively make comics/comic books/graphic novels. (Haha, sorry for my frequent posting, I just can't seem to get all my ideas in one spurt sometimes :P)
