We have some exciting news! CCAS has moved to a new and improved version of our platform. Not only is it more powerful and better organized, it is completely responsive (looks great on all devices).
ATTN: MEMBERS WHO JOINED AFTER AUGUST 22, 2019
The only issue we are experiencing with this move:
Members who joined after August 22, 2019 WILL NEED TO RE-ENTER THEIR PROFILE QUESTION, ANSWERS. Please accept our sincere apologies for this inconvenience.
ALL MEMBERS:
We have added a new Profile Question: "Which Category best describes you?"
Categories: Amateur Artist, Professional Artist, Amateur Writer, Professional Writer, Independent Self-Publisher, Traditional Publisher, and Fan.
Please edit your Profile, and select your chosen category. By choosing the category that best describes you, will enable you to add content to the appropriate new modules:
1. Artists: Add photos to the new Arts & Prints Photo Module.
2. Writers: Add your bio information to the new Writers List Module.
3. Publishers: Add your bio information to the new Publishers List Module.
4. Publishers & Writers: Add books to the new Comic Books & Graphic Novels Module.

Welcome to the CCAS. The admin for the site is Scott Shuford. Looking forward to knowing more about you and I pray you make some connections with fellow believers in Christ. May our gracious Lord richly bless you as you grow the knowledge of His love and grace.
Hey Dan,
CCAS was a fellowship of comic creators before their twenty-year online presence; I'm but a relatively recent and relatively nosy member. Some of the founding members, guys who earn income off of their work, meet monthly in LA. If your interested in the monthly meetings, go to the upper right of your page or the Home page; there's contact info for Eric Jansen.
As to your concern for what's appropriate on this site; I appreciate your concern. The Code of Conduct, posted on the right hand column of the Home page, makes general allusions to 'no objectionable art or views,' which means there's no guidelines for artists to play around. However, since you are concerned (Kudos for having a heart that is sensitive to others as well as to the spirit) I would recommend you take a stroll through the gallery. The gallery will show you the wide range of acceptable as well as the average tastes of the current CCAS membership. Blogs and discussion topics usually get a more peppery response than the art gallery.
I wouldn't mind looking over anything you send my way but I am by no means the conscience of CCAS. If you want a more authoritative view, I would consult Eric Jansen or Ralph Ellis Miley.
In Christ and for his glory
Dan,
Welcome to the CCAS site! So cool to hear that some other believer already has his dream job. This site is great for growing believers who are improving in their craft and I hope we can exchange expertise and encouragement.
Lord Bless your walk.
