My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

Chuck Popes Personal Calling to Ministry When I was about seven years old, I came to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I didn’t understand everything, but I did understand this. I knew I was a sinner, that Jesus Christ was the only one who could save me, and I knew that I needed Him. As I grew older I wasted several of my early teenaged years not truly living for God. I believed in God and knew I was saved. I prayed and went to church, that was enough for me. I didn’t understand the importance of having a relationship with God. My freshman year in high school, I really began to mature spiritually as a Christian and learned what it meant to have a daily relationship with God. As I began to mature and seek God more daily, I realized that I had a purpose for being on this earth. The following summer at Falls Creek, a Christian camp in Oklahoma, I surrendered to Gods call on my life to go into full-time ministry. Over the past several years as God’s matured me spiritually, He has re-affirmed that call on my life. I know that this is life-long calling, and that the rest of my life will be lived out in ministerial service of one form or another to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have made myself a willing tool for God to use to further His Kingdom. Christ has called me to a great and wonderful task, and with His strength and guidance I know that I will be able to answer and fulfill His calling. In His grip, Chuck Pope
