I became a Christian in 1994. Before that I was raised as a Muslim. I was living Philadelphia only for 3 months for a job until being sent to another office. I had run out of Star Trek novels to read so I picked up a tiny KJV Gidgeon’s Bible. I decided to read it only to learn the history, because Muslims are supposed to read the Bible but not believe in it verbatim. My plan was to learn who won which war, who begat whom… things like that. The first page was Matt 1 which reads as follows

That was more begats than I expected there to be in one chapter. I put the book down and decided to try again later. Very soon after that, someone stopped me on the street asked me if I wanted to join their Bible discussion. Long story short, I was baptized on July 20, 1994. My life has become more fruitful for God ever since then. I met my future wife at a church singles retreat. We have had two children since then. I live to give my talents to the Lord at work as well as in my art.
