My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I grew up in a Bible-believing family, but I personally decided to give my life to Christ in the 5th grade. I carried my faith through into college, where I served in various ministry roles (e.g. online volunteering at Elevation Church), and chose to be baptized in the Jordan River during a semester abroad, publicly declaring my faith. My faith and relationship with Christ has evolved over time, from child-like wonder and love (in my younger years), to dependence during challenging times (through college and my early career), to sometimes crying out in doubt and despair when things aren't going my way. My relationship with Christ to date has been battered, tried, and tested - and through it all, Jesus remains my shepherd and refuge. I continue to uphold an ongoing relationship with Jesus through dedicated prayer time and routine devotionals. I am open, transparent, and heavily reliant on Him as I navigate young adulthood, facing challenges and "giants" I have never faced before, both without (like my career) and within (like grappling with self worth in the face of challenges).
