This is the official call for talent. We are looking for any CHRISTIAN artist who is, has, or wants to be in Comics. It doesn’t matter if you are a pro, retired, or doing your own Indie book.
WHAT WE NEED: We will first establish our 12 Artists, and then I draw names for each month. Once your month is assigned, you will have until the middle of December to have your piece drawn and colored. We are looking for ORIGINAL Characters or an Original Christian themed piece. Art must be top notch for this, so if we get more than 13 artists wanting to contribute to the monthly side of the calendar, I will create a committee to oversee the final picks. If you are interested, please message me quickly so that I can get the months assigned. Even if you have already told me you are interested, I need an official confirmation.
COVER CONTEST: We will also be having a contest for the cover. If you would like your monthly piece to be in the cover contest as well, please let me know. If you just want to submit something for the cover part of the competition, and not be a part of the Calendar months, I will need to know that as well. If you win the cover contest, you will forfeit your month if you have had one assigned to make room for other artists.
DEADLINE: The deadline for the submissions is December 15th. Your pieces need to be drawn and colored by that time. If you will not be able to make the deadline, I need to know as soon as you know. This will allow us to look at if we need to replace you or just give you a minor extension.
PRICE: The calendars will be approximately $15 each at time of sale. These will be sold at cost. You don’t have to buy to participate, but it would be appreciated.

Just a reminder:
1. Your piece does not have to be month specific...so you dont have to have your team in Halloween gear just cause you got October.
2. You need to use either your OC or a spiritual based design
3. If you swap a month, I gotta know about it!
4. If you want your piece also entered into the cover contest, I gotta know!
5. Your piece must be penciled, inked and colored, or painted. No B&W action.
6. Select your layout and gather the info for it for me to have by DECEMBER 15th!
7. If you are not going to be able to do it, or will be late...let me know ASAP!
