Newly created trailer...

Quick update for those who are interested. I’ve been working on this graphic novel diligently for 5 years this month. 153 pages are completely penciled and 51 pages are totally complete, i.e., penciled, inked, colored and lettered. This is the equivalent of two and one third regular-sized comic books, so I’m making progress but still have a ways to go. For a brief change of pace, I put together this trailer using some of the art both finished and unfinished. Take a peek when you get a chance, Happy New Year!

  • Thanks for the encouragement Todd. 10 years, 400 pages...WOW! You definately feel me!  I love the turtle quote. Patience is HUGE!

  • Cool video David. Stay strong. After about 10 years and over 400 pages the last volume to my Allegories series is on it's way(150pgs). I'm done with the pencils mainly, now I'm inking it. Though I may ink 10 pages then do the lettering. Consistency and Endurance is the key and you have it. A saying that helps me which I got from a turtle on Sesame Street is "I may be slow, but I get there."

  • Thanks Steve, I average about 40 pages per year 4 years penciling and 1 year inking, coloring, lettering...not quite a page per week. Please pray that I maintain discipline...it gets hard sometimes...distractions, time management issues, other commitments...still got a ways to go.

    Cheers!

  • Hello, Mr. Campbell! Your trailer looks pretty cool, though I think the sound is a little low (but it might just be my computer. :P ). Anyways, I think your story has a very interesting plotline, and I look forward to learning more about it. Keep up the good work! :)
