Hi, I just joined, wrote a blog post here already:http://www.christiancomicarts.com/profiles/blogs/just-joined-here-s-an-introWhich should cover most things, really :) and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here. I have to admit, I was a bit startled to discover a Christian Comics Society at all, and extremely happy that y'all don't seem to spend your time decrying the state of the mainstream industry and instead focus on how to improve your craft. The thread about Christian media efforts frequently straying into hokey territory sold me on you all. I've thought the same thing! :) I can find exceptions to hokey Christian work, but it's telling that the mainstream preconception ( i.e., stereotype) is that Christian work is hokey. Let us battle the stereotypes together! ;D

welcome Paula. Only way to make Christian comics non-Hokey is quite simple and basic. STOP creating Hokey christian comics... we are our own worst enemy.
