I just had breakfast with my wife and girls. We prayed over our meals, talked a little, and I took out my copy of the Declaration of Independence, and read the whole thing out loud.
Great, great words written by some pretty remarkable men. I thank the Lord for the likes of them.
May we never take out freedoms lightly, but I fear that as a culture we do. Freedom to us is cheap and expected, but we ought never forget that our temporal freedom was bought with the price of many, many lives...
And the price of our eternal freedom was bought with the price of One.
