...Anatomy is very important to me.

I did an overlay of your figure to show how I might approach it.

Lining up your forms so that the body has a sound structure is 90% of the battle. You can see how in figure #2 I tightened up the construction.

In #3, I show how the forms work together to show perspective, depth, and mass convincingly.

Lining it all up will sell the image. I would suggest really working on anatomy. Life drawing classes are vital. Or, if you were like me for most of my life (financially challenged) drawing from fashion magazines, catalogs, or just folks out in the street is the next best thing.

       Anyhoo... that's my two cents.

  • Guess I need to be more specific:

@Melchizedek: the assignment was 3 expressions, 1 man, 1 women, 3rd was a freebie. and all had to be shown from the front and then profile shot.   Next was a full body action on page left.  Then the 3 panel shorty at the bottom showing a farm in the midst of a big flood, the family stuck on the roof of the barn then the original hero coming to the rescue.

@ Martin: comment, critique, likes, dislikes.  What areas do you feel it needs improvement or is already top notch.  Stuff like that.

    Thanks.

  • Do you want us to comment? And if so in what way?

  • What was the goal for the assignment?
