I have a few stories (along with the others at the New Creation Now studio) that were released this summer:
One is RAGGED CAPES, an anthology of short stories using the superhero archetypes of the villain, hero and anti-hero to look at themes of faith, doubt, and sinful human nature. It can be previewed free as an online webcomic (http://www.newcreationnow.com/rc-cover.html) and also as a full-color trade paperback printed through Createspace (https://www.createspace.com/3468094) or amazon.com.
The other is the first issue of our NEW VISIONS ANTHOLOGY, a collection of short stories featuring a range of Christian writers and artists. Subject matter ranges from superhero adventure to animal parables to high school comedy, all with a Christian focus. About half are standalone stories, half are first chapters of ongoing serials. Also available through Createspace (https://www.createspace.com/3468112) or amazon.com.
We've got a third title currently under production, and it should be ready within the next couple weeks. I'll post updates when it's ready.
Mike Abuan did all the art for AngelDreams #5 which I am currently coloring.

Mark - out of curiosity, did you a) Ever announce the winner(s) to your Azalea cover contest? And b) Did you ever show said cover? Would love to hear and see.

Ka-Blam. I'm actually considering them. A friend of mine at work used them for his last two projects and said they were very reliable and have a strong support team.

Will keep in mind.
Has anyone on the boards here used Ka-Blam? Any commentary on their final output?
It's great to hear about what folks are working on, and thanks Martin for the check-in! Nothing's out yet (nor will anything be out for a while) but here's what I'm working on:
Lightweightz
*This the first of what I hope to be many comics within the "R-Squared" Universe. I have a website for the comic currently being developed (www.wcomic.com). The comic is based in California and focuses on teenagers who are coming to terms with their newly discovered abilities. The abilities and the story is Christian-themed. I also hired an artist earlier this month, and I'm 90% done with finalizing the concept art for my main characters.
The Life of Peter
*This is a project I am doing in collaboration with Earnest Graham, a priest and Graphic Novelist. The story will focus on the major events in Peter's life (as depicted in the bible) and experienced from Peter's perspective. We've decided to break up the story into 8-10 page segments, and artwork for the first few pages of Segment # 1 started coming in this summer, so I'm excited about that. You can learn more about his work at:
I would appreciate it for folks could keep these projects in prayer, as well as pray for the time and financial resources needed for these and future projects. God has been opening many doors, so I just want to remain faithful. I'll be praying for everyone else's projects as well.
*Anyone interested in being on the e-mail list to receive updates on my projects, e-mail me at rsquaredcomicz@gmail.com with "Add Me" as the subject. Take care and God bless.
